By purchasing admission or attending the show, you hereby authorize Reaper Miniatures of Texas, Denton (“Reaper”), and those acting pursuant to its authority a nonexclusive grant to:

(a) Record your likeness and voice on video, audio, photographic, digital, electronic, online format or on any and all other media.

(b) Use your name in connection with these recordings.

(c) Use, reproduce, publish, republish, exhibit, edit, modify, or distribute, in whole or in part, these recordings in all media without compensation for any purpose that Reaper, and those acting pursuant to its authority, deem appropriate, including promotional or advertising efforts. These recordings may appear in a variety of formats and media now available to Reaper and that may be available in the future (e.g. print publications, video tapes, CD-ROM, Internet, mobile, digital).

I hereby release Reaper and those acting pursuant to its authority from liability, claims, and demands for any violation of any personal or proprietary right I may have in connection with such use, including any and all claims for libel, defamation, or invasion of privacy. I understand that all such recordings, in whatever medium, shall remain the property of Reaper Miniatures. I have read and fully understand the terms of this release.

We pride ReaperCon on being a safe place, where everybody is welcome and anybody can be whomever they desire.  Even so, certain kinds of offensive or harassing behavior are not tolerated.  To the best of our ability, we intend to eliminate inappropriate conduct from the convention.

ReaperCon reserves the right to revoke or suspend passes.  If an individual breaks the rules of the convention, he or she may be barred from the convention, either for several hours (to sober up, perhaps) or for the rest of the event.  If an individual breaks the law – city, state or federal – he or she will be arrested.  If you have been accused of harassment and feel that you were treated unfairly you may appeal to Reaper Miniatures, but that decision will be final.

Harrassment: It is very important that if you are being harassed or are in any way endangered, you report it immediately.  We cannot address anything that we are not made aware of and we need whatever detail can be provided, such as names or other descriptive information. If you feel you have been harassed please find the nearest ReaperCon staff member or volunteer.

Violence: If, at any time, you feel that your personal safety or the safety of others is in jeopardy, please notify Convention and Hotel Staff, and contact the Lewisville Police Department. In an emergency via 911, or in a non-emergecy situation via (972) 219-3600.

Creep Photography: As a guest, if you see someone harassed or taking inappropriate photos (especially where the target of the photo is unaware), we encourage you to speak up and say something.  As a community, we need to come together, look out for one another, and make sure everyone is treated with respect. For other photgraphy guidelines, see Rules 13 & 14.

  1.  You must wear your badges at all times to be admitted to any convention function. Children under 10 do not require a badge, but cannot take classes, and may only participate in games with GM's permission and an attendant guardian.  Paint and Take events, when they occur, are open to attendees of all ages. Bear in mind that this is an event at which members of the general public are admitted, and we cannot be responsible for any new vocabulary children or adults may unfortunately acquire after exposure to our guests.

  2.  Possession of alcoholic beverages by anyone under 21 years of age is grounds for expulsion from the convention without refund, and may result in criminal charges. We ask that alcohol purchased on-site be limited to the hotel Bar area before 6PM and that after 6PM all guests be discreet. Posession of illegal drugs of any kind will result in expulsion from the convention without refund and may result in criminal charges. Note that recreational and medical marijuana are both illegal in Texas.

  3.  Please keep all behavior that polite fans would find offensive in public in your hotel rooms. This includes rude and offensive behavior and intoxication.

  4.  We'll offer sympathy, but ReaperCon is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property, or for injuries sustained during the course of the convention.

  5.  Announced events and guests are subject to change and/or cancellation without notice. Every effort will be made to announce any changes via the Internet, pre-convention publications, and our onsite newsletter, but sometimes last-minute changes will occur.

  6.  We reserve the right to ask you to leave the convention and refuse to refund your money if you are behaving - in technical terms - like a jerk.

  7.  Offsite Food is allowed in the Convention Areas. Please be responsible with your food and beverages, and clean up your messes, especially spills, as soon as possible.

  8.  Please abide by our weapons policy: Weapons may only be brought as part of a costume, and must follow these guidelines: All weapons must be non-working and peace bonded. No functioning projectile weapons – including water pistols, silly-string guns, and ping-pong pistols. Bladed weapons must be cased or sheathed and peace-bonded at all times. No clowning around or showing off in the common areas. Any weapon used in an offensive manner will be confiscated and rule #6 enforced. We expect you to use good judgment; with your help, we can continue to allow peace-bonded weapons - thanks!

  9.  Especially in the harsh reality of our times, ReaperCon security staff, hotel security, and local law enforcement officials will treat anything that looks like a real gun as a real gun. We do not post bail.

  1.  NO CAMPING IN THE HALLS OR LOBBY! If you are found sleeping in the public areas, you will be asked to go to your hotel room. If you do not have a room, hotel or venue security will be forced to ask you to leave. Check social media for people looking for people to share rooms and costs.

  2.  Please do not abuse our hotels or convention facilities. This includes putting signs on walls. Public locations for notices are provided.

  3.  Costumers: remember that 'no costume' is NOT a costume, and there are public nudity and decency laws in Texas. Please wear appropriate (or at least enough) clothing in the common areas.

  4.  All ReaperCon members and attendees at the ReaperCon Convention are prohibited from taking, recording, or creating film or digital pictures, videos, tapes, sound recordings, or any other visual or auditory recreation of any kind whatsoever, of any ReaperCon guest, member, volunteer, or employee, or of any ReaperCon event, including but not limited to seminar, session, dance, or performance, for any commercial use, or for the solicitation of funds for any commercial or other purpose, without the express written permission of Reaper Miniatures.

  5.  All ReaperCon members and attendees at ReaperCon are prohibited from recording, including photogpaphy, audio and video, any and all classes and lectures.

  6.  It is against the rules of ReaperCon and all hotels to place or hand out flyers/cards in our/their space.   Flyers/cards on an open table in the convention area will be cleared to a trash receptacle. If you are handing out material in an unauthorized convention area, you will be asked to stop.  If it continues, you will be removed from the convention.

  7.  It is not permitted for non approved vendors to do sales in our/their space. Our vendors have paid for the privilege of booth space to conduct sales and monetize their trip to ReaperCon, and we must respect that. If you are selling material in an unauthorized convention area, you will be asked to stop.  If it continues, you will be removed from the convention.

  8.  Ballrooms and classrooms will be cleared between each panel, seminar, event, game, or class. Please be considerate of those needing special assistance and allow them access to the areas set aside for them. Please do not sit in seats or areas marked for their use. Please do not run, fly, or teleport to your seat. And, most importantly, Have Fun - this is ReaperCon.

  9.  We will not ship pre-ordered items to guests who do not attend, unless there are grievous extenuating circumstances. If you do not plan to attend, but have purchased bags, models, paints, or other physical goods, please arrange to have a show attendee collect them on your behalf.
  10. Classes, games, and other scheduled events with pre-registration can be returned for your money back up to one hour before the scehduled event.

Please abide by the above rules and a good time will be had by all.
