The ReaperCon Master Series Paint Open is the premier painting contest in the Southwest United States.

Here are a few of the things that makes the MSP Open so special:

• The MSP Open is not a zero-sum game. Your entry is judged by our industry professional painters against a standard, not against the skill of other entrants.
• In other words, the only person you're competing against is yourself from last year. Got a Bronze medal last year? Go for Silver this time. Got a Gold? Make sure you keep getting those.
• Enter as many figures as you like across three categories. Our judges pick a single figure for judging per category that they feel best represents your skill so you have the best chance for an award.
• Our judges will be able to also tell you how you can specifically improve to get a better award next year!
• You can pre-register before you get here to help make check-in faster.
• Any mini from any manufacturer is welcome.
• We even have a youth category. All skill levels are welcome!
• You will earn Reaperbucks for the auction, ribbons for your badge, and other fun ReaperCon meta-stuff for your entries into the contest.
• Often, different manufacturers will also sponsor special awards. For instance, Reaper offers a special prize for "Best Mousling" judged by Gene van Horne, and our very own Kevin Williams (our resident sculptor) judges a "Best Giant Monster" category. These awards stand apart from the main judging categories.
